Who is Activated Insights?
Activated Insights enables long-term care and post-acute care providers to optimize every interaction with employees and clients. Each month, associates at Activated Insights conduct over 18,000 home-based care phone interviews with clients and caregivers. These interviews are then compiled into reports designed to help home care providers understand how they can improve the quality of care they provide.
How do home care providers get listed with Best of Home Care?
Featured home care providers have earned Best of Home Care awards in categories such as Leader in Experience, Provider of Choice, Employer of Choice, Leader in Training, and/or the highest honor, Top 100 Leader in Excellence.
What happens if I call the toll-free number listed for an agency or fill out a form for more information?
All telephone calls and web forms are directed to the Activated Insights offices located in Rexburg, Idaho. Trained staff members talk with you about your personal needs or the needs of your loved one and ensure that these needs can be met by the home care provider you’ve selected. Once basic information is gathered, you are connected with the local office to answer any specific questions you may have and to continue the process of starting the care that you and/or your loved one deserves.
Will my information be shared with multiple home care providers?
Unlike other home care websites, we will only share your information with the home care provider you’ve selected from the search results. We believe in allowing you to have full control over whom you would like to learn more about and choose.
What does it mean to be a Best of Home Care award-winning provider?
Best of Home Care award-winning providers have earned high satisfaction ratings from their clients and caregivers. Client and caregiver satisfaction ratings are gathered by Activated Insights, a third-party quality management firm. Activated Insights interviews at least 10% of an agency’s clients (or family members of clients) and/or care professionals each month. Based upon their ratings, Best of Home Care awards are given to the home care providers who have met or exceeded benchmark satisfaction scores for their geographic region.
How often are the Best of Home Care awards presented?
Once a home care provider has been using Activated Insights Experience Management for a minimum of six months, their business is evaluated for award consideration. Thereafter, home care providers are evaluated every January to measure their satisfaction levels for the prior calendar year.
Where do the reviews come from, and how can I be sure that they are from real clients?
All reviews are 100% verified—meaning we guarantee their authenticity. Activated Insights does not allow home care providers to manually enter reviews or to only select the reviews with the top ratings to be displayed. Instead, each home care provider selects a percentage of the interviews that Activated Insights conducts each month with the provider’s clients/family members of clients to be displayed. Once this percentage is selected, the Activated Insights system randomly selects the reviews to display based upon the selected percentage. This process ensures that you see an accurate representation of actual client/family member experiences with the home care provider.
Do home care providers pay a fee to be listed on Best of Home Care?
No. Home care providers are not able to purchase a listing on Best of Home Care. They are also not able to pay to influence their rating or search ranking. Awards, reviews, and ratings are all based upon actual client/family member and caregiver feedback. We believe that the best way for an individual or family seeking home care is to learn from the experiences of other clients/family members.
Can I submit reviews about a home care agency?
Not directly. All reviews are gathered from interviews between Activated Insights and the clients/families and caregivers of the home care agencies listed. If you are currently a client of one of these agencies, you may be contacted for a phone interview and that feedback may be randomly selected to be used as a review. This system ensures that every review is 100% verified and authentic.
