I like the quick responses and the good follow-ups. It was very helpful to me, it gave me someone on the ground in New Orleans who could oversee things. It's difficult sometimes to manage things from a distance.

I am not really there but my mom is happy and they do what she wants. The caregivers come and helps with showring and will drive her places if needed to pick up medications and things like that. She sits and reads to her sometimes and hangs out in case she needs something. She helps with meal preparation. They just do a lot domestic things except cleaning.

We have a great caregiver. It really depends on who your caregiver is going to be. The first caregiver was very nice, but she had to call out right away due to complications from diabetes. Yvette has been fabulous. She is one of a kind. She is a total caregiver. My husband is 92, and she can manage all of his care.

They could improve communication among themselves in the office and with the caregivers. If they were better staffed, that would be helpful. There have been times when the shifts could not be filled and I might not learn about it until I'm already out of town when it's too late to do anything about it.

Every time I have someone new, I tell them where the key is, and the staff doesn't communicate that to the caregivers. I know I've written some paper directions; I tell them to call me or my husband anytime and a lot of time they call about questions that have already been answered.

The agency needs to improve communication. It's greatly needed. The client couldn't be left alone. We have one particular sitter and another sitter that is part-time. They are excellent and those are the only two I really use now. There have been issues over the last 3 years, but the two sitters I have now are wonderful. We have had some up's and down's over the last 3 years, but it's like that with any company.

I would definitely recommend them. My experience with them has been in two separate occurrences. Last year, it was excellent. This time around, my dad had fallen a couple of times. So now they are coming at night now. So I don't really see all that's going on.

Some of the care partners are better than others, so we asked for the terrible ones to not to come back. The ones that were good did meals and helped with laundry. The ones that weren't good didn't help with anything but mostly the bathroom. It made us realize home care wasn't going to be significant.

I like the willingness to adjust the caregivers and change them when needed if it's not working out. There are certain services that they don't offer that would be great if they did, like nurse's services or medicine administration.

It's such an individual thing, only because when they had some changeovers, they never informed us, and I had to reach out to them to see who we were getting. I think they should have informed us. The freedom it gives me, has been especially helpful.
