Most of the time they do a good job. There's a variability in the attendance and in work that they do. One attendant did everything by folding clothes and revamping the bedroom, and some others do the minimum. Some go above and beyond.

I'm in medical care myself, so I know quality staff is hard to find so you have to look at how things are carried out, but what I found from the higher ups is that they are dedicated, and kind. For my mom it has been critical, without these services she would be in a facility so it has been life changing as far as quality of life goes.

I'm not in town, so I just go off what my interactions with them and what my mom gives me. She is pretty critical about most things, for my mom it's average. It helps her live life, she has Parkinson's so she doesn't walk very well and can't get up and down by herself. It's completely helped out with her living life. Just knowing that she has care is a comfort for me. I think my mom would be an average because of the comfort of having someone there when she needs it.

I'd probably mention specific people who were with Susan if I were to recommend them more. I think they could make sure that whoever comes reads the patient's profile and knows what the needs are. It made things easier for us to know they were filling slots. It made it a little bit manageable.

I like the fact that when I asked how early ahead of time do you have someone come to explain what's going on, I was told that there was a set procedure that everyone could see for her, and once I got in the portal and saw the notes taken I was impressed. It has made a big difference if I need to be away, because we don't have a lot of family here, it's nice to have another place to count on when you can't be there.
