The agency needs to be more efficient and not take so long to put things into place, they do more reviewing than helping. The agency needs to have somebody come into the house and see each person, not everybody follows the same routine. The caregivers have a certain set of rules to follow; if you are outside these rules, they do not know how to help.

Sierra is awesome. I have had several different people because I just have 4 hours once a week. With Sierra, it's almost like we know each other. We just have a good relationship. It really helps a lt. I am 82 and my mobility isn't that good. I am a little afraid to get in the shower when no one is here. I get one good shower with my caregiver. If I happen to have a doctor's appointment when she is here, she takes me to the doctor. I have free rides to the doctor, but by the time I wait outside for half an hour for them, it takes half a day to do a ten-minute doctor's appointments. When she is here, I don't have the stress. If I have to wait for cars, my blood pressure is up. I have been able to hold my blood pressure in the 120's.

What I like the most about them is that the caregiver has been great, and we like the way they communicate. The caregivers help her go to the restroom, and they get her up from bed.

It took a couple of years to find a good caregiver. I would like the agency to improve on the quality of the caregivers. The agency has been very flexible and accommodating when I expressed discontent with the current caregiver. They helped find our current caregiver, which is great.

I would recommend them because they are caring, they come in, they take charge, and they help you get things done, and take care of you personally. They made the experience positive by helping me straighten out drawers, or getting my meals ready.

I like this agency because I adore the girl that's there 5 days a week. She knows all about diabetes and she keeps my mother-in-law fed. She's the perfect fit for what we need. He's getting the best care. The most care that we could have given him.

From the aspect of handling people with memory challenges is particularly good. Sometimes they communicate with my sister, who is in another country. Sometimes they communicate with my mom and things get lost, would lie for them to communicate with me only as the principle of the matter. I would like to know. They only come once a week, so my Mom is given some independence. This is a part of building trust with someone she recognizes, I know the home care will increase.
