I'm in medical care myself, so I know quality staff is hard to find so you have to look at how things are carried out, but what I found from the higher ups is that they are dedicated, and kind. For my mom it has been critical, without these services she would be in a facility so it has been life changing as far as quality of life goes.

I'm not in town, so I just go off what my interactions with them and what my mom gives me. She is pretty critical about most things, for my mom it's average. It helps her live life, she has Parkinson's so she doesn't walk very well and can't get up and down by herself. It's completely helped out with her living life. Just knowing that she has care is a comfort for me. I think my mom would be an average because of the comfort of having someone there when she needs it.

The services are the worst thing I ever had. 2 out of 3 caregivers did not know how to take care of anyone. Two did not know how to take care of anyone. One lady went to the store with me and left me to do her own shopping and then brought her things back and put them in my cart. I was struggling the whole time, and she just watched me. When we got back home, the lady came in and started eating and was on her phone. She had her Uber driver call my phone. She said that her sister dropped her off when she came, but then she gave the Uber driver my security gate number.

I get communication from them sometimes, but it isn't always consistent, and the caregivers aren't consistent. The goal was to get her out of her room, and they have been able to get her to go to her classes.

The people at the agency are extremely capable and very easy to talk to and get along with. When someone comes in to your home, you are glad they are there. I like the care through the people and the quality of the work. The punctuality as well has also made my experience positive.

I like the fact that when I asked how early ahead of time do you have someone come to explain what's going on, I was told that there was a set procedure that everyone could see for her, and once I got in the portal and saw the notes taken I was impressed. It has made a big difference if I need to be away, because we don't have a lot of family here, it's nice to have another place to count on when you can't be there.
