They're approachable when there's an issue. If there's an issue they resolve it, so I'm happy with that. Nothing's perfect, so when you have a question, they're there. They do listen and make sure everything is taken care of. The main thing was to get them care, they wanted to be home, so to get them in-home care. They were able to provide that. The girl that we have is very adaptable to them. We have a good communication, too, the rest of the family with her. That's all good.

It just worked out from the beginning. Personalities worked out. Initially, when she came over here the first time, the house was a wreck; I wasn't able to do anything. A lot of people would've thought, "Oh no, I won't deal with that," but Lynn was fine with it. She helped out when the cleaning crew came in, and she looks out for me. I think if someone wanted to hurt me, she would hurt them. I could not do it; I could not function without her.

If they are willing to be patient, then I would. We went through 4 different caregivers before we found the right one. The caregivers are not a good match, need to be more professional in their dress and attire. They need to know more about dementia and have a willingness to be concerned about the individual. They need to communicate with him and hold a conversation. They need to do more than go through motions.
