    I have 2 caregivers 6 days a week who have been exceptional. I'm in a small coastal town, so it is hard for them to find good help. I have 2 ladies in their 70s, so they are wonderful. I have had some others in their 20s who have not been. They have been in the caregiving business for a very long time, so they are very knowledgeable.

    The agency isn't together on their scheduling. They've deleted good caregivers off the schedule that I wanted to have for him. I would like to have people come over that are familiar with the surroundings instead of new people. I seem to get the new people, and they are gone and won't see them again.

    My caregiver went to another company, so I followed him. It's not the agency's fault, it is the state's fault because they limit their number of hours, and they kept pushing them back. I started with 14 hours, but they only gave me 12 because they only worked 3-hour shifts.

    The agency takes clients, and they don't have coverage for them. They could not find me coverage when my caregiver was out sick for a week. They finally found me a replacement on Saturday, but I went without services when my caregiver was in the hospital. Having the services is good, but I would like more services, but that is due to the VA.

I really want to recognize Rebecca Russell, she has gone above and beyond, she even checks in on Elsie personally because she lives nearby. Shannon does a lot for her. She does her grocery shopping, vacuuming, and helps her get her hair washed.

    They would send a caregiver even if they had the flu and tell them to wear a mask. They are only allotted a certain time for sick days and if they used all of them, they would just be sent anyway. I have an autoimmune disease, and can get pneumonia easily. It would have been easier if I was able to communicate directly with my caregiver.

    The agency does a good job, they accomplish their task. They do not go above and beyond, but they do the job. The services do help me a lot. I walk with a walker and I don't move around quickly, and I like to stay home. The caregivers come to help me clean and they always polite.

    I like our caregiver, but it has been a little shaky. It isn't their fault that there aren't a lot of caregivers in Florence. He really connected with our last caregiver.

    Unfortunately, I live in Florence where there is an office, however the main office is in Eugene. Eugene is always involved with answering the phones and getting a new person. It is horrible because they don't understand the Florence market. It should be handled by the people in Florence. As of the last month, I finally have been able to get two ladies that help me for the week. Before that, it was a nightmare. I never knew who was going to be knocking on the door and helping me that day.
