They are very responsive to what I request of them which has been nice, the caregivers have been mixed in terms of skill but that I feel is to be expected. I depend on the services a lot so it has been a pretty substantial help for me, but some caregivers provide less help than others.

They're very prompt in trying to keep you up to date if someone is going to be unable to carry out their service because of illness. They don't let you go without someone for quite some time. They get a person to take the place. They take care of the special things that have to do with my health and well-being. They help with my hair, for instance, to make me feel a little more attractive.

They're very dependable. If someone can't make it, they get someone to replace them. They're always checking with me about the days needed. I can text them. Being a companion helps his mood. She sits and talks to him. She assists him to the bathroom.

I would just say that it took us a while to find somebody who was a good fit. We kind of went through a lot of babysitters. It was just who would be able to come. Now that we have found our good fit, it's better. Having somebody trustworthy and able to take care of her.

They would need to have their caregivers show up on time and have some back-up plan if they cancel. When they don't show, it is a huge impact because I have to cancel what I am doing. If they show up, it is great because I can go to work.
